Thank you, anonymous person, for the premium membership. I was definitely not expecting it, but it is appreciated.
In other news, a new dog is coming, a greyhound named Shay (not sure about spelling). Things have calmed down for now, fortunately. However, this means I don't really have much to talk about in this journal.

Saying No to Eclipse
Now, while I'll be sticking around regardless, I've seen Eclipse and... it's not good. It's a massive step backwards; it's not intuitive at all, and it's difficult to even tell what page you're on at time (in fact, I consistently mistake my notifications page for browsing/search pages), and I've been hearing bad things about actually using it (I've been switching back to old-style ASAP).
As such, I've signed a petition (link here: change.org), and I ask that any of you who watch me who don't want to be forced to use Eclipse go and sign it as well.
Thanks for your time, and I hope you're doing well despite everything that's going on.
Signal boost: Hashiime request raffle!
This wonderful artist, ~Hashiime (https://www.deviantart.com/hashiime), is holding an art raffle!
Here it is!
He does amazing work, so even if you don't want to enter, go ahead and look him up.
New Laptop
I recently broke my old Chromebook, so I've replaced it with a new HP laptop. The Windows 8.1 interface is clunky, but I'm slowly getting used to it.
In other news, I've got Space Engineers working, along with the bonus game I purchased with it. Miner Wars is a surprisingly fun little game from the same developer, and using some of the same assets, as Space Engineers. Unlike Space Engineer's wide open sandbox (where any stories are created by the player), Miner Wars has a complete, and interesting, storyline.
In Miner Wars, you play as the pilot of a small, armed mining craft (which you pilot throughout the entire game... even in places wh
Steam troubles
I recently purchased a game for the Steam network, but I discovered a serious problem when I went to install it.
The option to redeem codes is completely missing.
Now, obviously this is frustrating, but I'm somewhat more worried about people who are going out and purchasing a game, only to find that it's inaccessible. Some games (such as the Gauntlet remake or Space Engineers) can be purchased physically (what I did, actually); some use a redemption code to prove you purchased it, but installation is entirely over the internet. Others, such as the game I bought, have a physical disk, but still require redeeming a code.
The results are quit
